Discovering bonsai at the Southport Flower Show at the age of 12 while my parent’s garden centre was exhibiting a trade stand of cut flowers, I have been hooked ever since. That was 25 years ago. Bonsai has become an all-consuming passion. We started selling online 12 years ago and have had our nursery in Sheffield for 8 years.
When I was getting into bonsai, I couldn’t find nice trees to buy. After I managed to get to professional bonsai nurseries, I found I couldn’t afford to buy most of the bonsai trees that they had for sale. When I started All Things Bonsai, I wanted to bring people nice bonsai trees that they could actually afford to buy.
I’m a passionate believer that with the right advice, anyone can have a wonderful bonsai collection. We’re happy to spend considerable time with customers, listening to them and giving useful information on how to grow bonsai and get them off to a good start. It’s been very satisfying to see people come in and buy a couple of small trees, get good advice, keep them looking great and gradually expand their collections as their skills and confidence grow.

About our individuality
We find joy in all bonsai, from the humblest Elm to the finest Maple. We try our best to individually photograph trees for sale on the website. It takes ages. Where we use example photographs, we carefully consider each tree prior to dispatch to make sure that we are happy with it.
All sale bonsai are kept with our own trees, receiving the same attention and care as my oldest specimens.
We are passionate about bonsai trees and I believe that this passion comes through in the bonsai and in the feel of the nursery when you come and see us.
We have shipped so many trees that we have become expert in ensuring that they come to no harm on their way to you. Take additional confidence from our insurance policy.
About our delivery and products
Most of our items include delivery as standard in the price you pay. Please allow a week for this to arrive. If you are in a hurry, you can also select an express option which will be dispatched by 24-hour courier. Please give us a day to get the order ready, so allow 48 hours for your order to arrive.
About our professional & friendly customer service
We’re essentially a small craft business which relies on word-of-mouth recommendations for business. There are currently two of us (Adam and Jude) who handle all aspects of growing and shipping our bonsai and related items. if you have any questions, just give us a call!
