Bonsai trees are periodically repotted for health and vigour. Sometimes into larger pot but by no means always. Often roots are carefully trimmed back allowing for the tree to be placed back into the existing container, with fresh soil.

We use root hooks and root scissors to untangle and trim back the roots. We place mesh over the draining holes in the pots. We use soil scoops to add new soil into the pot. We also wire the tree in place to stop it getting dislodged.
