Black Pine Part Trained Bonsai Tree 9YR Stage 2
We’ve taken the part trained Black Pine and moved them onto to the next stage of refinement, having removed overly powerful shoots, keeping smaller, finer ones. We’ve also removed densely packed needles and trimmed back the remaining longer needles in order to reduce energy and allow in light.
Next steps are wiring and repotting at some point.
Site outdoors in full sun. Black Pines are very hardy bonsai trees but it may be wise to protect under glass in winter in order to keep the tree on the dry side.
