Ficus as perhaps the easiest species of bonsai tree to grow indoors.
Site the tree is a nice bright location away from sources of heat. Ficus don’t like cold weather, so a conservatory or porch are best avoided in winter. Its a really good idea to give the time some time outside in summer. At home, we keep our Ficus outside from late spring to early autumn. This gives them a boost. They love summer outside as it is similar to their native environment.
