If you're looking to start your bonsai journey, I highly recommend the workshops at All Things Bonsai. I recently attended their three-hour session, and it was excellent. Adam is a fantastic teacher; the class is completely hands-on, allowing you to practice techniques directly on real trees. ​At £80, the workshop is great value—especially since it includes a £30 credit toward any tree or tools of your choice to take home. The shop itself is well-stocked for all your maintenance needs, including a great selection of pots and fertilizers. The highlight is definitely their pricing, which is consistently more affordable than other shops I’ve visited. ​Regarding the facility: there is parking for about 20 cars, including a few disabled spots, and there is a coffee shop on-site. Please note that while there are toilet facilities, they are not suitable for those with disabilities. ​Overall, it’s a brilliant place for both beginners and enthusiasts. I have purchased a tree, compost, soil and tools. Each time I have been more impressed than the last. They really know how to do customer service. But as well as that. I have just received my wonderful bonsai tree. Buying from all things bonsai has been a very good experience. Great communications, accommodates the fact that I needed the item for the weekend as it was a gift. Sent it next day delivery, and it was with me in less than 24hrs. The best bonsai nursery! All Things Bonsai is my local bonsai nursery and I have visited many times over several years. I have purchased trees, pots, fertilisers and substrates and have been very satisfied with everything I've bought. Adam's knowledge is second to none and his advice has enabled me to really develop the condition and design of my trees. Helpfulness of staff: 10/10. Selection of products: 10/10.
