Bougainvillea Flowering Bonsai Number 57Y

Native to South America, particularly Brazil, Peru, and Argentina, Bougainvillea has become a garden favourite in tropical and Mediterranean climates around the world thanks to its brilliant, papery bracts that often outshine the actual flowers. These bracts come in shades of magenta, pink, orange, purple, red, and even white, providing long-lasting colour across the warmer months.

In the UK, Bougainvillea is considered frost-tender—temperatures below 5°C can cause damage. Therefore, it’s commonly treated as a summer patio plant or grown year-round as a houseplant.

When indoors, they need a good amount of sunlight and to be kept away from sources of heat such as radiators.

This is the actual tree being sold. Height displayed is total height of tree and pot.
