Ligustrum are one of the few species of bonsai tree which tolerates being grown indoors. Naturally small leaves help make them look nice.

The best thing to do is grow them outside and bring them inside before frosts come in the autumn. When indoors, they need a good amount of sunlight and to be kept away from sources of heat such as radiators.
